Batter Recycling Door Decs

Hey 3 West,

Did you know you can recycle batteries in a special bin located next to the Bears Den in the Markee Pioneer Student Center? Let’s all do our part to make our campus a more green place.

Pick It Up

Thanks to Davis for inviting me to come along on a highway clean up. It was a ton of fun and felt great to restore the natural beauty of this great area we live in.

Bike Ride with Robbie to the M

On Tuesday, April 25th

I went on a bike ride to the M with Robbie.  Overall, it took around an hour to go to the M and get back to Rountree.  We rode for just over 10 miles and climbed close to 500ft.  While we could have gone to the M and back in much less time by driving, we decided to use our legs and the mechanical advantage that our bicycles gave us.  In doing so, we were able to get a good leg workout in and had fun in doing so.

Recycled Gear Door Decks

I just wanted to remind everybody that we should be remembering to recycle throughout the year, I have gone into the recycling room to find many different things that should be in the recycle in the trash.  Here at Rountree we have a great system where the faculty take care of the garbage and recycling for us, we only need to put it in the proper receptacles.

I made the door decks out of recycled newspaper to ensure that I was not wasting paper that could  have been used for other things. Also, I made them into gears because we all need to mesh together and cooperate to make the world a better place.

I hope that you are all reading these posts to be able to see what is going on in the wing.

Thank you,
